1. Who we are

Resolved (ABN 39 294 620 140) is a digital marketing agency operating remotely across Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Resolved.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a growth audit or contact us, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, and the information you choose to share about your revenue range, advertising spend and current challenges.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this website we collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or advertisement that referred you.

Client account information. If you engage us, we are usually granted access to your advertising accounts, analytics, website and customer records. That access may expose personal information about your own customers. We treat it as confidential, use it only to deliver the services you have asked for, and do not copy it out of your systems except where reporting requires it.

3. Why we collect it

We use personal information to prepare and deliver the audit you requested, to respond to your enquiry, to provide and invoice for our services, to improve this website and our marketing, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We will only send you marketing email if you have asked for it or engaged us, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use it and to measure the performance of our advertising. These may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta pixel.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and adjust advertising personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it. That includes our web host and email provider, our analytics and advertising platforms, and our accounting software.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia, most commonly in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles your information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep audit enquiries for 24 months from your last contact with us unless you become a client, in which case we retain records for seven years to meet tax and record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify the information.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@resolveddigital.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. We may need to verify your identity first.

9. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email hello@resolveddigital.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and give you a written response within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
